Young designers from throughout the Waikato region will take to the stage on August 30th to showcase their talent in our second ever event for Recreate Fashion Awards event in support of Hospiceshops!
The Recreate Fashion Awards seeks to promote the benefits of upcycling, reducing waste in landfill and to inspire a move away from fast fashion while supporting a great cause - Hospice Waikato.
Over 100 up-cycled garments will be modeled on the runway at Clarence Street Theatre - this event is sure to inspire you with the caliber of creativity and passion for sustainable fashion.
These garments, made from at least 80% upcycled clothing sourced from Hospice Shops, will be scored by a panel of judges with the top designs in each category taking out some amazing prizes!
Come along and support these young people as they showcase the potential of up-cycling combined with a positive environmental change.
